SELVA ARMONIA
ECO RESORT
Selva Armonia is an immersive eco-luxury resort in the jungle of Costa Rica. Martina was approached to project manage the construction of 3 small villas, 2 ensuite cabins, a bathhouse and a large greenhouse. She also project managed the full remodel of the staff compound, the restaurant’s seating area and commercial kitchen. Working alongside the foreman, Martina was responsible for the overall designs and technical drawings, timelines, budgeting, build costs analysis, suppliers relations and coordination.
Martina has many positive qualities. However the best thing about working with her is her communication and focus on each step of every project.
ECO VILLAGE
Martina coordinated communications amongst owners/investors, architects, masterplanners and engineers throughout the permitting, environmental impact studies and blueprints process of a luxury commercial and residential 20+ unit development. She gained knowledge of the Costa Rican condominium laws, and helped with market research, business planning and financial forecasts for the viability of the project.
Martina is an exceptionally calm, dedicated, and steady professional who approaches every task with a constructive mindset and commitment. She values integrity and upholds meritocracy.
LIVING SPACE
Living Space is one of the most renowned residential and commercial construction companies in the southern zone of Costa Rica for their ecological designs. Martina was hired by the Directors to support them with home and interior modelling, project management and restructuring of the company’s management systems. She was able to streamline communication flow and improve timeline management within just a few months of joining the team.

MODELLING &
TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
Martina has been using SketchUp for several years, first for custom stage design and then for residential homes and renovations, down to custom furniture designs. She is now producing very detailed models that improve build timelines and communication flow. Besides her technical skills, she is able to work with the elements, make the most of the available resources and create harmony between the landscape and the desired design. Martina is highly focussed on reducing the environmental impact on every project.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
Martina has been physically building her luxury home in Costa Rica alongside her partner, using a variety of materials and building techniques. They started in their spare time in 2020. Their attention to detail and passion for creation, art and design have turned this into a lifestyle. Martina takes care of most of the interior finishes and furniture making, meanwhile her partner – master of many trades – has built the structure from the ground up. Their understanding of permaculture principles and their love for nature has also guided them through the design and making of the surrounding farm.
Working with Martina is a delight, her strong ethical and moral qualities make for a great working environment as well as her professionalism.
