GLASTONBURY
SHANGRI-LA

Glastonbury is one of the world’s most iconic festivals, accounting for an overall population of 250,000 people. As Production & Live Event Manager for one the most popular areas known for its educational activism and music lineup, Martina was the primary point of contact for Glastonbury’s main offices for Infrastructure, Gates, Box Office, Licensing, Event & Security Control and Crowd Management. She also coordinated all internal comms and operations of 10+ custom build venues designed and created by over 1500 crew and artists.

Martina was a crucial member of the team. Managing the production of large scale installs and artworks that required artistic and structural expertise. Her calm and thoughtful approach to her work provided a healthy and supportive environment to work in, across the whole team.

ENVISION  FESTIVAL

Voted one of the world’s greenest and most transformational festivals, Envision is now on the map for showcasing alternative ways of sustainable community living. Martina built their production department from the bottom up, managed a team of 250 crew and oversaw the Artist Relations and Tech teams. Simultaneously she assisted the Creative Director with 350+ artist contracting, advised the CFO and Admin Director on company systems and procedures, and produced 10+ custom build stages each year.

Martina is a force of nature that brings ethical change and value to events on an unprecedented level. Her work is well known and revered for pioneering the creation of new groundbreaking operations and production systems, such as Envision Festival where her impact transformed it into what it is today, a globally recognised destination event.

ANDREA BOCELLI
UK TOUR

Martina was asked to join the Andrea Bocelli 2018 tour – the world-famous tenor – delivering a first class production in 20,000 people capacity arenas and concert halls. Working alongside the Tour Manager, she was responsible for coordinating travel and all on-the-ground operations for both Party A and Party B artists during rehearsals and live shows. This included managing flights, hotels, ground transportation, green rooms, and venue logistics.

Martina is highly organised—both professional and personable—and a quick learner. She immediately grasped the practical aspects of the role and the dynamics between all parties involved. She was a pleasure to work with.

DISCOVIA
iDISCOVER 360

iDiscover 360 is a school of thought for human development, coaching very interesting and inspiring individuals. Martina consulted for the iDiscover Director with the production and curation of their first Summit. She created all the management systems and budget forecasts based on 3 different ticket sales scenarios, contracted all the talent for the programming and curation of the event and advised on all marketing materials. Martina also sourced all suppliers from catering and elixir bar services to glamping, production crew and equipment rental.

I had the pleasure to witness Martina's colossal work, both in the pre-production phase and during the live event as a Production Consultant. Without her, Discovia would have not been such a success. Martina is by far the most qualified Producer I've ever had the chance to work with, and I’m very thankful we crossed paths.

BOOMTOWN FAIR:
BANG HAI & THE RELIC

Boomtown Fair is an 80,000 capacity independent festival with a strong theatrical and activism position. Martina was approached to produce 2 of their largest and most complex custom frame stages: 32m high by 80m wide, in a 40,000+ people arena. She was in charge of build and decor fabrication timelines, procurement, H&S construction docs, crane plans and crew welfare. Martina coordinated all needs and comms between the scaffolding teams, the main festival infrastructure and all tech suppliers from power, lighting, sound, AV, lasers to pyro and camera crews. 

Her attention to detail and professional expertise allowed for a smooth production, using her organisational skills in planning and executing efficiently. Martina was a highly valued member of the team.

VILLAGE
UNDERGROUND

Village Underground has been home to cutting-edge culture, clubbing and live music for over 15 years. Located in Shoreditch (London), VU showcases the best in new and emerging talent alongside world-class artists. Martina was asked to manage the live shows to ensure a smooth operation from start to finish. This included clients and artist relations, crew management and run of show logistics. She was responsible for all areas and teams, from security and crowd flow to technical production and bar operations. 

During her time in the operations team at VU Martina led from the front, she is a consummate professional whilst performing in a popular arts venue under a high pressure environment. She is a gregarious team player and a huge benefit to any prospective organisation. She's sorely missed.

KACHETTE
SHOREDITCH

Kachette hosts corporate parties, album launches, filming, casting and private receptions. It’s regularly home to some of the worlds biggest brands including Google, Nike, Playstation, Instagram and Spotify. Martina was the very first Venue Manager who took all the first steps to helping Kachette become one of the most popular and unique event space in East London. She was responsible for all bookings, client relations, company operations, events run of show and venue management. She also set up all the accounting and budgeting systems as well as created all the marketing and PR materials, which put Kachette on the map.

Martina was a pivotal force in the opening of Kachette, a new space in the heart of Shoreditch. She’s a dream to work with; thoughtful, a great communicator, imaginative and resourceful.
