Chapter ONE
Florence - La Dolce Vita
Martina was born in Florence (Italy) where she received a balanced and happy upbringing. From her early years, Martina showed a strong sense of independence and adaptability. Surrounded by the arts, craftsmanship and the Italian dolce vita she also developed a very creative mind and great dexterity. At the age of 14, she begun to work during her summer holidays, and immediately discovered her appreciation for accomplishments. Not long after completing her 12th grade in scientific studies and a degree in Enology, she moved to England (UK).

Digital Nomad - Self Discovery
After 10 years of urban life, Martina felt the need to push her boundaries seeking an alternative and more sustainable lifestyle. She embarked on a self discovery journey around the globe and took her event production skills to an international level. This is when she joined the Envision team. During this time she found a passion for outdoor sports such as surfing, climbing, skiing and high altitude hiking, which fed her appreciation for nature and the elements. She remained very career driven throughout this wandering chapter of her life, and developed a real sense of pride and determination in her work. In 2018, Martina joined the Andrea Bocelli tour – the world-famous tenor – delivering a first class production in 20,000 people capacity arenas and concert halls.

Chapter FOUR
Home - Self Reliance
It was in 2019 that Martina decided to settle in Costa Rica, and a few months later the whole world was shutting down. The year 2020 offered a valuable period of personal and global reflection from which more resilient systems must arise. With the event industry on pause, Martina took the opportunity to expand her professional skills and enrich her personal interests by acquiring new trades and starting new projects. Not only did she taught herself frontend development coding – see Martina’s web creations – but she also awoke her curiosity towards carpentry, herbalism, permaculture, land regeneration and sustainable construction models in tropical environments.

Costa Rica - Focus & Regeneration
Martina never stops learning and she has always been able to carry forward all her skills across a diverse range of industries. She is continuously finding ways to take her work to the next level and exceed expectations. Currently she is focussed on trying to awaken people’s consciousness through permaculture principles and ideas for more ethical businesses. Besides her web design side hustle, she project manages full remodels for eco resorts such as the one at Selva Armonia as well as the construction of environmentally conscious luxury homes with Living Space (Costa Rica). She is actively looking for development projects that support the environment and the well-being of all local communities. See Martina’s development projects
